Our Museum is a place for all children and families.

Low-sensory Evenings

By limiting attendance and turning down some of the ambient Museum noise, we offer an enjoyable space for children with disabilities to play with their families. Learn more.

Wheelchairs

  • Every exhibit (aside from the climbing structures, Altitude and Adventure Forest) is wheelchair accessible.
  • Wheelchairs are available at the front desk.

Training

Our staff receives ongoing training to make sure every family has the best visit possible, and daily educational programs are designed for inclusion.

Created in partnership with several local organizations, including SPECTRA Autism Center, Inc.

We Play

A parent-child play and wellness group hosted weekly by the Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus and the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology.

For more information or to join our next cohort, email WePlayDenver@gmail.com.
