Indigenous Storytelling and Tastings

Sunday, July 26 from 1 - 3 pm

Join Narissa, the Founder Of Ch'il Indigenous Foods, in The Teaching Kitchen for an afternoon of Indigenous storytelling, conversation and squash tasting.

Beginning at 1 pm, guests are invited to drop in, hear Indigenous stories connected to squash and learn about the significance of native foods and heirloom crops in Indigenous cultures.

Then at 2 pm, enjoy a tasting of squash inspired by the stories shared (while supplies last).

Important notes:

  • The Teaching Kitchen will not host afternoon classes this day
  • This is a drop-in experience, no sign-up required
  • Free with Museum admission
