- You MUST be a current member to receive member pricing - $10 off per attendee! Not a member? Join or renew here! (Memberships will be verified, and your purchase may be canceled and refunded if you are not a current member.)
- Include all workshop attendees, both adults and children, in your group ticket purchase. No one without a ticket will be admitted into the workshop area, and adults must accompany children at all times.
- Guest passes/coupons are not valid toward workshops.

joy park workshop: dinosaur excavation
In 1984, the Children’s Museum opened its doors alongside the Platte River, but can you help us uncover what was here before? Join our excavation crew outside in the Joy Park Sand Dunes to dig for ancient dinosaur “fossils” and help us learn about what life looked like millions of years ago. Designed ages 3+.

joy park workshop: camp throwback
Join us outside in Joy Park for some summer camp fun! Kids will have a blast making friendship bracelets, learning useful outdoor skills and creating tasty snacks in a solar oven. Designed ages 3+.
joy park workshop: adventure forest immersion
Meet the Council of Creatures, decode a secret language and see Adventure Forest in a new light. Dive deep into the story of this 500 ft. long adventure course and immersive art installation, and challenge yourself by flying on the zipline, swooshing down the 70 ft. slide or climbing to the tippy top lookout.
For the safety of our guests and staff, Adventure Forest will close in the event of inclement weather. All climbers are required to be 44 inches or taller OR 5 years or older on the date of the workshop.
art studio workshop: baby clay
Get your hands dirty, engage in sensory play and leave with a lasting memory! Using clay, early learners will create one-of-a-kind molds of their handprints, footprints and more. Kiddos will also get to experiment with clay by adding textures, patterns and shapes to a large slab. Designed for ages newborn - 36 months.
Your art will be ready to take home two weeks after the workshop date.
art studio workshop: marvelous mosaics
Add a little magic to your space with a handmade mosaic masterpiece! Make your own unique pattern with colorful, smooth glass and then seal with plaster for a one-of-a-kind creation that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Pieces are ready to take home that day! Designed for ages 5+.
teaching kitchen workshop: breakfast bonanza
Learn to crack eggs like a pro, whisk up mouthwatering waffles and then assemble the perfect breakfast sandwich! Designed for ages 5+.
teaching kitchen workshop: ice cream party
Join us in The Teaching Kitchen to whip up some delicious homemade ice cream. With classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla bean, as well as some epic toppings, it is sure to be legen-DAIRY! Designed for all ages.
